Dating and what-not
Jul. 8th, 2012 02:25 pmI made the mistake of flipping on Bravo this morning. There's a woman getting advice on dating(?) from another lady, an "expert." The expert told her that she laughs too much and not to do that out loud because it "interrupts the narrative."
You have to have a narrative on a date? What if you just want to see a movie and have dinner? Aren't you supposed to laugh when it's appropriate?

Seriously: If the woman's laughing, I've either done something horribly stupid and/or embarrassing, or I just succeeded in telling a good joke. Sometimes a guffaw is just a guffaw...
